Therapeutic massage utilizes Swedish techniques, one of the most common types of massage therapy. This is a manual therapy that often involves rubbing, kneading, stroking and tapping your muscles. It's often used to relax you, relieve stress and relieve pain. The therapeutic approach to which it can be considered can range from clinical to deep to relaxation to intuitively guided and anything in between. We will discuss the approach during the intake process to determine what will work best for you towards your goal. This is a 30 minute session.

Using traditional Swedish techniques with a different application, this light touched massage is designed specifically to target our parasympathetic nervous system, also known as “rest and digest”. It is designed to give the body a reprieve from the physical strain that grief holds in our muscles and nerves. Allowing a safer space to move emotions through our bodies and connect the body and mind back to itself. This is typically a relaxing modality however does often brings emotions up and out of the body which can feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable at times. Offered in 60-minute sessions only.

An end-of-life massage also known as palliative care or hospice massage uses gentler techniques than a traditional massage. Bella Morte will consult with the patient or their loved ones beforehand to learn about any particular areas of discomfort. Then we will discuss the plan for their hospice massage. End-of-life massage, focuses on providing comfort, reducing pain, and enhancing overall well-being for individuals nearing the end of life, according to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). It's a gentle, compassionate approach that prioritizes emotional and physical comfort, often incorporating techniques like slow, purposeful touch, hand-holding, and mindful presence. Scheduled for 60 minutes but will be dependent on the client's tolerance. This is a mobile service where the therapist comes to the client, bedside.

End-of-Life Coaching provides support and guidance to individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey. This service is not giving medical advice or a substitute for medical care but rather giving you the tools to assist with decision-making, communication, and grief support, while helping individuals and families understand and cope with the complexities of dying and death. Giving families the tools that they need to make educated and informed decisions and learning how to advocate for their loved ones when transition is nearing. Available with telehealth in 60-minute sessions.
